Biography
Hamiidah is a midwife and emerging health researcher with a focus on maternal and child health in low-resource settings. She is a co-founder of the Pearl Mother and Child Health Initiative, where she leads the programs division and has contributed to community-based reproductive health programs, including expanding access to self-injectable contraception through the Women Self-Inject initiative, a D-Prize-funded project in partnership with local health systems in Uganda.
